I love trying new recipes for candy bark because you can never go wrong!

This simple crowd pleasing snack will leave you no leftovers! Make sure to prepare double for the "extra" tasting
you do before serving!

Peppermint Candy Bark Ingredients:

1 package (2 sleeves) chocolate graham crackers

1/2 cup margarine

1 cup sugar

1 package chocolate chips

3 teaspoons peppermint extract

1 cup white chocolate chips

2 tablespoons oil

2 packages red and white peppermint candies

1.Open peppermint candies and crush in a high power blender.

2.Lay out two sleeves of graham crackers on a cookie sheet and set aside.

3.In a small sauce pan melt margarine and sugar together and stir on low flame for
5 minutes. As soon as the sugar starts to turn a golden brown remove from flame.

  4.  Spoon sugar mixture onto graham crackers and allow to harden.

5.Over double boiler melt dark chocolate chips.

  6.  Place one tablespoon oil and 3 teaspoons of mint extract into chocolate and stir.

7.In a separate pan, melt white chocolate chips over a double boiler and stir in one
      tablespoon of oil.

8.Pour dark chocolate over graham crackers and spread.

  9.  Spoon white chocolate sporadically over the dark chocolate. Marbleize with a knife.

10.Sprinkle crushed candies generously over the bark.

11.Place bark in freezer until hardened, and break into pieces.
