Several hours later, Flatbush Shomrim received information that the suspects had returned to the area. Volunteers located the vehicle and maintained observation while coordinating with responding NYPD officers, who conducted a traffic stop on Ocean Avenue following a brief pursuit. Both individuals were taken into custody without incident and were charged with possession of a forgery device.
Investigators believe the suspects visited multiple businesses in Flatbush, and authorities are examining whether they may be connected to similar incidents in other neighborhoods. The investigation remains active as detectives work to determine the full scope of the operation.
